Our Goals

Based on the order history of previous estore users and in support of our fiscal and environmentally responsible goals, the Communications and Marketing team has moved most of our stationery items to a print-on-demand model. This eliminates the need for inventory of bulk printed items and promotes a more responsible purchasing culture.

Pricing

Unit prices are higher for smaller quantities due to our print-on-demand model for most items on the store. The slight increase in cost is offset by the overall annual savings that the university will experience by not paying to house inventory. Please consider pooling your orders within your department or faculty as this will reduce the unit price of an item.

In the future, if demand increases for an item, we will review and consider the benefit to the university of introducing it as an inventory item.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why can't I change my shipping address?

The university negotiates a vendor of record annually for shipping. We have adopted use of this carrier for all eStore orders. In order to use our preferred rate, all deliveries must ship to our main campus address, 2000 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa.

Why can't I change my business card address?

For all north campus business cards the general 2000 Simcoe Street address is offered.

For all downtown campus business cards, there is now an option to select your individual location to be included to assist in directing guests to your location.

How long will my order take to arrive?

The cutoff for orders shipped the following week is Wednesday at 5 pm. Production happens after Wednesday, and orders are sent the following Monday.

Orders arrive to campus on Tuesday, then deliver via interoffice within the next few days. *if you need an order ASAP, please arrange for pick up with Shipping and Receiving.

I can't wait for my order... I need it in 3 days! What if I need my order rushed?

If you need an item rushed, please email marketing@ontariotechu.ca. There will be a rush charge to cover delivery.

The rush process will take 3 business days from the time the order is placed. Pick up arrangements can be made with Shipping and Receiving.

Can my order be canceled?

Yes, if the cancellation request is received via email to marketing@ontariotechu.ca prior to production, the order can be cancelled entirely and refunded the following month. Individual items within an order cannot be cancelled, the entire order will need to be cancelled.

Can a product be returned after delivery?

If there are quality concerns, please contact marketing@ontariotechu.ca and we will discuss with you to ensure we follow up with the vendor. Custom items cannot be returned.
